Textured Lattice Cowl Pattern
PATTERN NOTES:
Yarn/Yardage: Sample was crocheted out of an unknown DK yarn. Any 110 grams of DK-Worsted yarn will be fine for the cowl.
Hook: 5 mm
Gauge: 16 stitches over 4 inches in Single Crochet Stitch
Finished Size: Cowl measures 8 inches wide and 22 inches in length. You can work stitch pattern longer to make a double loop cowl.

ch- Chain
FPTC- Front Post Treble Crochet
Rep- Repeat
RS- Right Side
sc- Single Crochet
sk- skip

Pattern:
Set Up:
Make slip knot and ch 33 sts
Sc into second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn.
Cowl:
Rows 1-3: ch 1, 1 sc in each st across
R 4(RS): ch 1, sc 3, FPTC in the 2ed st 3 rows below, [sk the next 4 sc 3 rows below, FPTC in the next sc, sk the next 2 sc, sc 4, FPTC in the next sc to the left of last one worked], ending with sk the next 2 sc, sc 3
Rows 5-7: ch 1, 1 sc in each st across
R 8: ch 1, sc 1, sk the next 4 sc 3 rows below, FPTC in the next st 3 rows below, sk the next sc, [sc 4, FPTC in the next sc to the left of the last one worked 3 rows below, sk the next 4 sc 3 rows below, FPTC in the next st 3 rows below, sk 2], ending with sc 4, FPTC in the next sc to the left of the last one worked 3 rows below, sk 1, sc 1
Repeat Rows 1-8 until work measures 22 inches, ending on row 2.
Fold Cowl so Right Sides face, and slip stitch starting edge to working edge, seaming closed.
Cut yarn and weave in ends.
