PATTERN NOTES:
Yarn/Yardage: Sample was crocheted with 2 skeins of Yarn Bee's Sugar-Wheel Cotton (335 yards per 142 grams; 100% cotton) in the colorways Paris Morning and Nutmeg Nibbles. Any 300 grams of fingering weight yarn will do.
Hook: G-6 (4.00mm); or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 32 stitches by 11 rows over 4 inches in double crochet. As this is a shawl, you can easily substitute different weights of yarns and gauges, but bear in mind overall measurements will vary in doing so.
Notions: Scissors, yarn needle
Finished Size: 48 inches wide and 21 inches deep. Note that size may change depending
on gauge.
Additional Notes:
-Ch2 at beginnings of rows do not count as double crochets.
- A 'cluster' is a granny stitch which is made of three double crochets into one space, making a 'cluster' of stitches. When pattern speaks of 'clusters' it is talking about these groups of three double crochets.
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
dc- double crochet
R- row
sk- skip
st- stitch
